The animals that we take into our rescue are either: (1) pulled from local high-kill shelters; or (2) are surrendered or removed out of homes. Often these dogs have been neglected and or abused, and many also have serious medical issues. We rely on the public for donations to pay these vet bills, as well as ALL other costs of day to day operations. Some of these include professional trainers for rehabilitation, and the continuing costs of boarding our precious dogs, who do not currently have a foster. We are 100% volunteer based, and every cent you donate goes to the care of our animals.

“In Memory” and “IN honor” donations
It is in our nature to want to be there for our family and friends as they deal with grieving a loved one. The loss of another being in our lives, be it human or animal companion, is a time of deep loss and heartbreak. Often, those of us on the outside search for ways to help during this time and we at the Saving Hope Foundation are frequently contacted by those wanting to honor their friends and loved ones by supporting a cause they are passionate about - our furry friends of Hope!
With a minimum donation of thirty dollars, the Saving Hope Foundation will send a greeting card with a picture of a Friend of Hope (dog) on the cover and a quote about the loving, loyal nature of these amazing creatures along side a handwritten letter of sympathy and acknowledgement of the donation made in their (or their furry friends’) honor (donations can be kept anonymous upon request).
If you’d like to make a donation “in honor” or “in memory” of a loved online, please use the IN LOVING MEMORY button provided to you below. In the special instructions section please simply write "in memory/honor of” with your email address and/or phone number. If you wish for your donation to be contributed to a specific area of our mission (Animal Welfare Education, Snip, Snip, Hooray! Capital Campaign, or General Operating), please note that as well.
